Creativity has always been at the heart of Maura Gorman's journey. A graduate of MassArt and former elementary and middle school art teacher, Maura turned her lifelong passion for art into Dainty Scripts, a creative studio specializing in hand-painted murals, custom signage, live wedding guest illustrations, personalized artwork, and art workshops.
What began as creating custom pieces for family and friends has grown into a thriving business known for bringing meaningful moments to life through art. After welcoming her son in 2023, Maura transitioned from full-time teaching to focus on growing Dainty Scripts while balancing family life.
Adding to the Fontbonne connection, fellow alumna Bridget Curry is part of the Dainty Scripts team, working alongside Maura to create beautiful artwork and memorable experiences for clients. Together, these Fontbonne women are combining creativity, collaboration, and entrepreneurship to make a lasting impact.
Whether she's painting a mural, illustrating guests at a wedding, or leading an art workshop, Maura believes art has the power to connect people and celebrate life's special moments.
