Parker Vitaliano-Hill '31

Meet Fontbonne 7th grader Parker Vitagliano-Hill, founder of Rosie’s Ruck, a New England Rugby 7s Tournament for Epilepsy Awareness.

After being selected as a $5,000 grant recipient from the Epilepsy Foundation of New England’s Blue Skies Challenge, Parker turned a personal connection into powerful action. Inspired by her younger sister, Alana, and her seizure-alert dog, Rosie, Parker created an event that brings together sport, community, and purpose.

Join us on May 31, 2026, at the Irish Cultural Center in Canton, as teams from across New England come together to raise funds for seizure-alert dog

training and promoting epilepsy awareness.

Parker’s leadership has also been recognized nationally. She was named a U.S. Women’s Rugby Foundation 15 Under 30 Award recipient, honoring young women who are shaping the future of the sport and their communities.

Listen to the audio clip from a recent appearance on Karson & Kennedy's Good Vibe Tribe segment to learn more and hear from Parker and her mom about the inspiration behind Rosie’s Ruck!

The Fontbonne community is so proud of Parker. Her work reflects the values of service, courage, and compassion that are at the heart of a Fontbonne education.
